Who can join WiCS?

University of Iowa students, professors, and professionals who identify as female, or some other gender minority. They must be dedicated to encouraging women to pursue fields in the computing sciences and building a community of technical women at the university and beyond. This can be done through community outreach, professional development, and peer networking. 

Why should you join WiCS?

Education through monthly learning sessions and other avenues, access to the development of personal skills, support from and collaboration with a safe community of like-minded peers.
